Welcome to the Carbon Steps Challenge ("the App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a private, non-commercial web application that allows a group of coworkers to participate in friendly monthly step-count competitions. Features include leaderboards, miles-club tiers, and a virtual trail map.
The App is intended for invited participants only. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You may log steps manually or connect a supported fitness service (e.g., Google Health). By connecting a fitness service, you authorize the App to retrieve your daily step counts. You can disconnect at any time from your profile page.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
The App and its original content are the property of the app administrator. You retain ownership of any data you submit (e.g., step counts, profile information).
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App is not a medical or fitness device — always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise program.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app administrator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
The app administrator may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or any other reason. You may request account deletion by contacting the administrator.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
